Thank you for your interest in joining TMA Talent Management.
We have a strict policy of admission and acceptance so that each client will be vetted and also approved only after certain criteria have been met. This enables us to only take on clients we feel we can potentially submit for castings.
We do not take clients unless we meet with them personally to enable us to assess the client and to what jobs they will be suitable for (if any). Alot of agencies take clients on without meeting them and online and take fees upfront without personally meeting with the client.
Here’s why meeting an agency is in your benefit
You should also want to meet with an agent to see if they are a suitable match for you.
Under no circumstances will we deviate from this procedure. We also offer a 30 day risk free money back Guarantee if you decide that modelling isn’t for you …. no questions asked !
Our client base includes models, actors, singers, dancers, directors, writers, producers and their production companies, below-the-line talent, casting directors, presenters, comedians, voiceover artists and others involved in all aspects of the media business.
How does TMA Talent Management work?
TMA Talent Management are extremely selective with the clients we take onto our books. We will only take on those we honestly feel have a good chance of getting work, whether this be for Modelling, Acting or Supporting Artist (SA/Extra) Work. When our books are open, we assess each individual application carefully and successful applicants are contacted within 5 working days to arrange face to face meeting.Should you be deemed potentially suitable for the agency, you will be sent full details of the next step. After the telephone interview you may be invited along to a registration session with the agency. The registration gives the agency the chance to meet you face to face to assess and discuss your suitability and raise any further questions you may have, as well as for us to observe you and your overall behaviour in an unknown environment, similar to that of an average casting session. You will be informed of the agency’s decision on the day of registration. We have recently been casting for the likes of Walkers Crisps, TK Max, The Only Way is Essex, Black Beauty, Bridget Jones, Coca Cola to name a few.
How does the agency earn?
The agency earns from commission on work we get artists. We take 20% commission on all fees (excluding travel expenses). As we do not charge high registration fees, it is therefore clearly in the agency’s best interest to secure artist’s work.
Once I’m registered with the agency, am I guaranteed work?
Unfortunately, not! No agency could possibly guarantee work, as they have no idea whatsoever what work will come into their offices from one day to the next, so will never know in advance who a client may select for their assignment. If an agency tells you they can guarantee you work, then avoid them at all costs!
What happens once I am registered with the agency?
We will put you forward for all assignments you meet the criteria for. As and when a client contacts us to ask to meet you for a casting or book them for a shoot, we will contact you immediately. Sometimes we might contact you beforehand if the client requests us to do so to confirm availability on a number of shortlisted models or maybe to confirm a specific detail. We will not contact you each and every time you are submitted for work. In order to determine your suitability We would like to carry out a telephone interview with you with a view to acting as your agent . On completion of your interview we will require photographic identification i.e. passport or driving license and also your NI number.
We will require at least 5 recent photographs to make your z-card profile so please bring these to us on registration so we can create your profile to forward to casting directors and production companies for various productions.
Telephone interviews are usually carried out within 5 days of us receiving your application.
We look forward to working with you.
